im really really looking forward to the communist chinese flag being planted on mars. it will be a proud day in american history
 
it was in a fast time frame because out mission was to go to the moon. we could do anything with 1960's spirit and technology. nowadays i dont know..

And in the mean time, the other countries pass us by technologically. Do you have any clue how much new technology was spawned by the Apollo Manned Moon Program?
 
Obama didn't create the private space industry, but this is the kind of legislation that will allow it to grow.


You'd think conservatives would recognize that, but like usual politics take precedent over policy.
 
What happens when the sun unexpectedly starts to die out and we need to send a crew with a massive nuclear payload to restart it? What about seducing hot alien women and stealing their technology? How about a rip in space that acts as a portal to hell and we need to close it? What about uncovering a gov't conspiracy that turns a population in the outer planets into savages? How can unmanned missions fix any of this?

We need old man rage if we are to survive the harsh realities of space.
 
if a man explored that spot he would know no water was there, an unmanned probe could have given incorrect readings
 
they did contribute quite a bit to the weapons programs of the allies, brought the world out of the depression and created the best looking military uniforms in history. also, a legacy of the holocaust is the nation of israel
