develop my skills? I have a full-time job and don't have the time or opportunity to go back to school to get a masters or my CPA. I have plans to become the CFO of the company I work for as the company gets bigger, but I don't know how to fulfill the roles of a CFO. The owner of my company has his background in entrepreneurship and has given me full autonomy with my roles as controller and has basically let me build my own processes and policies as I go. He expects me to be proactive, and he is the one that told me he wants me to be the CFO, but I am stuck with the basic knowledge of how to reconcile bank statements and use Quickbooks. I have a strong desire to be proactive, but I have no idea where to start. We will continue to grow by 40% over the next few years and I am worried that my limited knowledge will leave me scrambling to keep up with our growth. I am looking for a resource I can turn to without having to hire a consulting firm. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
