yes that's pretty much the only difference. just stay away from the n95-1 because it has smaller battery and much less RAM.
i suggest getting the version that has 3G where you live, because unless you travel to UK 8 months a year, you will use 3G here every day, day after day, while the UK 3G will only be once in a rare while.
now there was an n95-2 version that actually had 850 and 2100 mhz 3G, which was for australian market actually i guess (not UK). this would work and give you 3G in both canada AND the uk. however i dont know where to get that version or how popular it is. but more importantly, it depends if your carrier runs 3G on 850 mhz in your area. its been confirmed that in the toronto area, 3G runs on 850 mostly. so it would work there POSSIBLY.
you would have to trial and error first, or test with another phone, or get user reports from this forum for your exact location. even then, you will only have half the 3G capability of your network which can run 3G on 850 and 1900. so say you move, or you work in an area that runs 1900, it might not work out for you.
