well that's a different story...your cpu should be your main concern imo. My laptop was only 800 after a rebate though and it's plenty powerful...of course a couple hundred dollars extra to vamp it up to 2gigs

And i believe the n95 is slimmer then that.. All i know is that the N80 was about the same as my Ming, so its not big in my book.

true, but sometimes hardware is improved later on (not specs, just the quality or maybe tweaks) and plus youll be always bothered by the bugs untill few months, but ya u reminded me of free firmware updates, now thats a plus.

I know that's the way it works, but I'd rather pay $400 rightaway and the other $300 over a period of 2 years (through my contract) than to pay the entire amount immediately.

People were mentioning pre-order prices of $1300 dollars and people who do pay these kind of amounts are overpaying for the device big time.
