Nokia n93i... expensive!! :(

Well, this one seems authentic. And sucks because I'm going to have to wait for about a month. Hopefully the price comes down. (Or maybe I can sell myself...)

Like I said... I don't like him.
And if I didn't say it, well... now I did!

I really wish the price would drop. I'm almost tempted to suck-it-up and deal with the regular n93

In fact, they seem to be skyrocketing upwards rather than down. Look at the price of the best available and who knows what the n95 will command. 1200-1300 is my guess for the first week of availability and perhaps a drop for the next few months to $950 plus the usual ridiculous shipping costs that put it close to 1000. I'm not budging on the N95 until it's 800 shipped. Probably a few months away from that but there has to be a limit. If the N75 debuts in the mid 300's I may jump to that anyway because of the 3g but the point is... these s60's are becoming too damn expensive!!!
IMO (based on the ones I've had)
N80- $350
N73-$350 (better camera but lacks the N80's wifi which is why i price them close)
E61- $275
E50- $150
Of the 4 s60v3's i've owned I think these are fair prices. Maybe people will argue that the N series should be a bit higher but I didnt think that even though I paid much more for them. That being said, the N95 shouldnt command more than $600 shipped IMO. It's starting to get nuts. What's the E90 going to debut at w/ dual S60's and all the other crzay specs....$2000???

I think we're all starting to lose sight of the worth of things. When the Wii and PS3 came out, I thought it was ridiculous to pay $700 for any game system. I've spent some more time with my buddy's Wii though, and it's starting to make me rethink things regarding phones. The Wii has wifi with a built in browser powered by Opera, supports flash content including YouTube, has the most intuitive wireless control system I've ever experienced, and it still plays all my favorite games. It basically IS a lil' computer for really basic needs, for $250! And here we are contemplating spending over $1000 on a phone that has a mediocre set of several types of electronics. Granted, the N95 is cool, but it still will never store as much as my Zen Vision M or have the same TV-out capabilities, it will never take as nice of pictures as my 7.2 Sony Digicam, and it also doesn't have nearly as many features as even a basic GPS unit (I don't own one). Yet, nevertheless, this device is probably going to cost as much as all of these devices combined, if not more!

I need to rethink some things. . .

I see your point.. But i look at it this way.. Its not as good as the real devices.. But these phones do a pretty darn good job already. So if you combine those devices then we are getting a bargain.

N95 case in point.. .5mp camera, mp3 player, basic hand held gaming device, cam corder, gps, wifi internet, and lets not forget a phone. haha

So when i look at it like that i love having all those good qualities in one monster package. Thats how i look at it.

Yeah, I know that... but I'm seriously impatient and have been waiting for this phone since the day it was announced.

I have about 600 saved up for it, and a couple things I could sell... if I try hard enough.

If those specs are accurate, I want it even more!
