I think we're all starting to lose sight of the worth of things. When the Wii and PS3 came out, I thought it was ridiculous to pay $700 for any game system. I've spent some more time with my buddy's Wii though, and it's starting to make me rethink things regarding phones. The Wii has wifi with a built in browser powered by Opera, supports flash content including YouTube, has the most intuitive wireless control system I've ever experienced, and it still plays all my favorite games. It basically IS a lil' computer for really basic needs, for $250! And here we are contemplating spending over $1000 on a phone that has a mediocre set of several types of electronics. Granted, the N95 is cool, but it still will never store as much as my Zen Vision M or have the same TV-out capabilities, it will never take as nice of pictures as my 7.2 Sony Digicam, and it also doesn't have nearly as many features as even a basic GPS unit (I don't own one). Yet, nevertheless, this device is probably going to cost as much as all of these devices combined, if not more!
I need to rethink some things. . .
