Nokia N76 is being shipped!

Wonder if CTI Miami will have them in tomorrow? lol

I wonder how much this phone starts to go for once the initial few weeks of price gouging wears off. I'm getting one for my wife but 4 hundo has got to be the cap with that paltry 2mp camera on board.

He's talking about the 8800SE though. The 8801 was rocking the 500 mah remember

...and I don't think there is any doubt that the N76 will have poor battery life. It's par for the course with Nokia. There was speculation that Nokia didn't up the RAM on the N95 as it would drain too much battery life. Considering the N76 flat out dwarfs the N95 in RAM how would it survive with a much smaller battery? ....I still plan on getting one for the old lady but no logic in that. Of course the person who mentioned the RAM/battery issue could have been out of their gord as well!

It's one sharp looking phone, from what I recall seeing at the S60 event in NYC. The one thing I wasn't sold on was the keypad. I didn't really have THAT much time with it, though.

The E61/E62/E61i have stellar battery life as well. My E62 is connected to BBC 24/7 and I make and receive a ton of phone calls all day. A typical day is roughly 70 phone calls, 30-40 received emails, 10-20 sent emails, and 20 sms messages. I also surf the web throughout the day and throw down some gaming during cig breaks. My E62 can laugh at that usage. Still needs to be charged but it's not gasping....

...in fact, everyone I work with on a day to day basis remarks, "does that thing ever stop ringing?"

CTI Miami informed me that the release has been pushed back until the end of May (or that when they'll get them). I've also heard of May 15 as a release date, too.

With moderate usage of the N95 (1hr calls, 5 texts, hour of music, and 30 min of using apps/games), if you start full bars at 8 am, would it get you through the night? I don't think that then N76 is going to be worse than this.

read the whole thing and know that it is an answer to the post above it... hence, in reference to it... errr, whatever...
