Nokia N76 is being shipped!

sorry i meant with the N series, E series I know rock in terms of battery life. problem is I really want a good music player phone, and I like the 3.5mm jack of the n95 and n76, i might just get the n76, been looking forward to this phone for months now..

Correction: N76 and 6290 are both A2DP compliant, meaning both devices are ready for A2DP & AVRCP, but it is up to Nokia if they will implement it or not... so far on Nokia's web sites it does not mention as N76 having A2DP, not yet anyway, we might have to wait for the actual release...

BTW, there are 2 N76s - RM-135 and RM-149

oooh 3.5mm! I'm game... will be getting this phone in black as soon as it drops! Will probably sell my new D900 ... oh well. This looks excellent, as I've always preferred black phones, and slim enough and *black* (which is why I'm not considering the N95 at all).

Woa... CTINYC charging $600 for this thing... guess I won't bother. Maybe when it drops to $300 in a year or so.

i do not think my old 6310i and T39M are A2DP compliant...

BT profiles are dependent to the hardware, if the hardware does not support it there is no point of putting a BT profile there, besides that, that particular profile will not work at all if it is not supported... in addition, A2DP & AVRCP were only added starting from BT V. 1.2...

in the case of S60, A2DP and AVRCP are now fully supported across the product range of all S60 3rd FP1, hence all the products with FP1 are ready for A2DP, AVRCP among others, (although N91 8GB is an exception, but this too was approved for A2DP) but it is up to Nokia or operators to decide if all the profiles will be made available or cripple some coz of so called marketing positioning and strategy...

I WAS WONDERING ABOUT N95, HOW LONG TH BATTERY WOULD LAST IF YOU ARE USING THE MUSIC PLAYER?

AFTER EXPERIENCING THE LOW CAPACITY BATTERY ON 8800, NOW I AM USING 6070 WHICH CAN LAST LONGER..... ANYWAY, I HAD THAT 6300 IS A SUPERB PHONE AND ALSO GREAT BATTEY LIFE....
