Absurd.
1. US 3G isn't 1900, it's 850/1900. Look at all the 3G phones currently available for the US (the two LGs, two Samsungs, and 8525). If it doesn't have 850 it won't make it to production.
2. All Nokia s60 phones have always only been limited by what memory is currently available. Transflash right now goes to what, 1gb? then it'll hold 1gb. (won't come with that much, but even unbranded ones don't)
3. They didn't "do" anything to the E61 to get the E62. It's an entirely different model. The same one, in fact, that Rogers (in Canada) released. That wasn't Cingular being stupid, it was Nokia realizing that in certain markets, certain features are more or less important than in other markets. Called good business.
4. I'm not understanding why you're so neg on this phone, and why you don't think Cingular's going to offer it. It's already been stated as fact that Cingular's been working directly with Nokia on it. There's no way both companies would waste that much money if one was just going to trash it. The difference in that and the 6282/N80 is those were developed BY Nokia and then pitched to Cingular. They didn't fly, so this time around Nokia started with Cingular and said, "tell us what you want."
