Nokia N75 is Now Available

I knida liked it, I've always used the "trying to hold to many things in your arms at one time" comparison but I liked your cluttered desk analogy.

Hey man.. I had one too.. But it was a Proto though!!

Some guy in ebay scammed me!! Sent me a N80 Cingular branded. Also damn thing doesn't even vibrate!!!

I like that desk analogy too. I always thought of it as the same way. You're ROM is kind of like the file cabinet behind you.

Adding a 2 gb memory stick is like buying a massive filing cabinet to go along with the tiny one they give you with the office.

Yeah, I did. So what? It works for me (once my thumb grows a healthy callus). Today I used it as an in-car nav system (has TomTom on it) on a 3 hrs trip and it worked like a champ. Made a 1hr call afterwords and still had half a charge left. The bar form factor works better for that alone than flip or even slide. Took some nice pictures and videos, browsed the web, checked out sat images of a hunting place and played some games. What's not to like?

Yeah, there are a few quirks but guess what? I have it in my hands right now and that's not something that most of us can say about the N75 now is it?

I never really understood why Rick got rid of his......I know that he sold it but did he say why?.....I thought that this was his "Lust phone"..... Did he mention it somewhere and I skim over it!!?!

Oh wow...I just took a look at the battery and it looks to be worse than the N80. That is not good news, but, I guess I'm not shocked by them only putting a 700mAh in a phone of this size. For the record, the N75 has a 800mAh battery...what's with all of these crap batteries?

For the life of me I dont see where it mentions the N75 other than the authors view points. Looking at the chart it only shows the available Nokia models and the new version of the BB Hurl. Where is the information from Cingular that they plan on releasing it or that it's in fact delayed?

That's interesting. If ROM is not available to the operating system for processing, then my 35 megs of free "phone memory" i.e. ROM are not responsible for the absence of "out of memory" errors on my phone. Probably my frequent clearing of the cache - which presumably is held in RAM - helps prevent those errors.

If I recall, it previously said "Coming Soon". I'm pretty sure he's got one, as he posted from it on the N75 release date thread, but the question is, when can the rest of us get one? I'm hoping he'll answer that tomorrow night.
