Nokia N75 is Now Available

even still, the title of this thread is misleading because the phone isnt widely available and engadgetmobile just reported the N75 as being delayed until may or something.

Well i'm glad to see you got what you paid for! It's nice to see something that wasnt a scam after all! .....I know your putting together your own review but how bout some prelim on the browser w/ 3g?

What do you think about the legitimacy of the current eBay listing, the one with the guy claiming he got it from a charity auction? With these constantly slipping release dates, I'm thinking about picking it up. I can always update the firmware through NSU, right?

One of the reasons I hate having the Razr anymore is because everyone else and their mother (literally, my mom got one last week) has it. With only 3 Cingular branded phones in the wild, with you having one of them, I don't know how much more exclusive you can get than that.

I think it's legit. I've already tried to update mine through NSU (cause I'm curious like that) and I got nothing. I know another HoFoer found out that the ebay lister has a newer firmware than mine, and still obviously branded.

to a kind friend. I should have it back by Thursday, in sweet sweet unbranded. but still locked, though I think I'm going to give Cingy a ringy and see if I can't smooth talk an unlock code out of them.

Question for the experts: If you had your heart set on an N75 and were profligate enough to spend $700 on it, would you have any qualms about buying one of these?

Is there anything "gray market" about them?
