I was watching a 2000 documentary that was on C4 called Scream + Scream Again: History of a Slasher Film today in college, and it showed a clip from one of the Nightmare movies, where A host on a TV show is talking to a woman, but then he turns into Freddy and stanRAB up to kill her. I found the scene quite strange, but also humorous lol, but Ive searched and cant find which film it is from, so can anybody shed some light pretty please? Thank you! :)

I think it's Freddies new nightmares, but just put the dvd on to double check ( havent see it for a while )

OK I was wrong. he does show up on a TV interview, but not the scene you mentioned.

will work my way through the films :)

It's from the third one, Dream Warriors. Dick Cavett is the interviewer:

"Let me ask you something..."

"Certainly..."

"Who gives a f--k what you think!?!"

Very memorable. :)

It's certainly the best in the series imo. Great storyline, great characters and that hilarious scene and dialog :D

I also remember Freddy having eight needles filled with heroin as his fingers at one point and injecting the druggy girl who was in rehab. "What a rush..." ha ha. :o The film was like a comedy now that I think of it....

Perfect mixture of horror and black comedy.

I also love the scene where a guy shouts 'Honey'where's the bourbon- then Freddy comes into the bedroom holding a decapitated head 'I said where's the f**king bourbon'.

Don't be embarassed, the scene is meant to be funny.

Zsa Zsa Garbor was the Britney Spears/Paris Hilton of her day,it's the equivalent of when Britney was 'killed' by Chucky, only much funnier.

Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors is a great film.
Very funny as well, as demonstrated by the scene which we're talking about.:D

Elm Street 3 is the one Elm Street movie which I'd recommend to anybody if they want to watch a good, entertaining, funny and enjoyable film.
Pure escapism and fantasy. It was like watching a kind of fantasy adventure where the main characters have to go on some sort of quest.

A bit of trivia about it, it was Patricia Arquette's first film and her big break into Hollywood. I vividly remembered her being in it when she went on to become a big star name.

in the first film freddy was a genuinely disturbing character - a sick child killer. and the film was terrifying

as the films went on he got lamer and lamer, tossing off roger moore era bond-style quips. the films became a joke and got less scary.

its almost as though they were made for children
