New York Event: Evening with S60

Let me be the next to jump up and say that I'm pissed I won't be there...outside of partying, nothing good never happens in Orlando -

I usually sit on the side but this event sparked my interest.

Is anyone up for a roadtrip from Toronto to NYC? I have done this trip many times and its easiest with 2 (or more) drivers.

I was actually planning to go to Boston that weekend but NYC may work too.
PM me if interested.

Otherwise I may fly in and stay with a friend.

Oh I have other stuff to do as well, like getting a copy of my hubby's birth certificate. But I never really need a reason to come back home.

AngelWing, are you really gonna try and make i? That would be so kewl.
 
If only I lived in NYC I'd be there TRUST!!! I wish that they were doing something like that at the Chicago store March 10th as I will be there!!
 
yea, i was kinda figuring semi-formal myself. As for my SE, I've had it since Oct of 05, lol. I've just been waiting for a really solid phone to come out, and found it in the n95. But, I'll be sure to take out my w8 and take tons of pics if i decide to go, and if my friend decides to accompany me, he'll be bringing his SE k8 and taking lots of photos himself .
 
wow, finallyyyyy. Did they say anything about pricing for the N95? I wish i could've made this, but I had to work unfortunately. From the pics, the event looked fun .
 
I'll also add that it was a great time. Though, I didn't know realize so many of you were there. I recognized Darla from her badge, and ran across "flipmyx" at the N95 table later on. I guess I could have put my Hofo name on my badge, too. I probably walked by many of you without even knowing it.

I'll also second that the 6110 Nav as being pretty impressive. It's a pity that the N95 has no U.S. 3G. I mentioned lack of 850 and U.S. 3G bands when doing the interview thing with Dan Shugrue from Nokia. Turns out he works out of Boston (Burlington) and lives in the same city I do. Small world.

And I kept it on the dl, but I had a Cingular N75 with me at the event. Flipmyx, Darla, Phil and Dan saw it. I would have shared if I knew!
 
Is anyone else suspicious of this event being so close to the supposed n95 release date? Is it possible that this event will coincide with the release of the n95? That would be pretty cool
 
Hey all!! Sorry I haven't replied to everyone's RSVP yet, I put out the blog post on Friday, then went away for the weekend, figured I just waited till everyone RSVP'd. I'll send out the confirmations a bit later.
