New York Event: Evening with S60

He, he, I wonder if it was me you were standing next to Tkao2025. I must have tried to launch that web browser about five times. Each time it caused a freeze and I had to restart the darn thing. I really wanted to see it work but finally I lost patience and moved on to snacking and drinking some more - it really was the most appropriate thing to do at that point.
By the way, does anybody know anything about the status of that N95 list? I've been reading a lot of speculations and rumours about delays and such. I also heard something that there were already 90 people on that list before we got a chance to sign up. Then again somebody mentioned that the NYC store is especting to receive up to 500 units initially.
It was a really great event though, and I really appreciate the opportunity to be there - hope there will be more such events in the future. Great job Phil and all....

Only two people I ran across from here were flipmyx and Darla. I asked her if she knew anyone else, and she said no. She was expecting Angel, though.

Yes I'm sure that was me standing beside you. I was amazed that you were able to launch all the appications except for web. I've never seen a phone that was still so buggy...but than again I've never seen any pre-pro phones until that night.

How I wish I could have been there..

Some Nokia Staff knows me that I'm a HOFO member..

I have a feeling that some Nokia staff too are HOFO members.. Cause their up to date on what we talk about here @ HOFO..

Did anyone who went get the chance to surf the web on the E90? I'm assuming if you did it would have been via wi-fi. I know people have mentioned that it was buggy but i'm curious what the initial thoughts on web browsing were. I know AAS has given it a big thumbs up but more feedback is always better.
