New Tricks - Series 7

Neither are any where as successfull as New Tricks, it also repeats to 4-5m people an episode which is more than many dramas get when New.

Neither of those dramas have been axed anyway offically. When the report came out they also mentioned Hustle was also axed and it got recommissioned 2 weeks later:rolleyes:

Don't know about Tyne Tees but it was the same Kevin McNally who was in Pirates of the Caribbean. Incidentally I might be wrong but when we first saw the photos of Yasser in 1985 wasn't it perfectly obvious that he was not the child of two white parents ? It seemed to take our sleuths quite a while to spot that one. But love the series !

Indeed!

I only vaguely remember this show, but in it I think he was going round the region interviewing interesting people and doing pieces to camera, rather than playing a dramatic role. Someone please tell me this show isn't just a figment of my fevered imagination!

Just looked KM up and it says he was born in Bristol and raised in Birmingham. If it is the same guy, he had a North East accent, but I daresay as a trained actor he would be able to turn his hand to lots of accents.

Yes, New Tricks is nice cosy viewing for a Friday night. Brian's my favourite, even though, like James Bolam, I'm a Mackem by birth!

I enjoyed last night's episode, though I did get confused about Sandra's brother (I must have missed that in the last series).

Strange caution the police officer gave though - 'You don't have to say anything unless you want to'
