New TMNT Toon Direction decided (Update: Early designs revealed)

Especially white suburban kids with rich parents. Yet, if they met a gangsta or a pimp, they'd wet themselves, and run home to cuddle their "Build a Bear" named Mr. Yum Yum. Posers. To quote the Grim reaper, they don't even have any respect for the old school. They never even heard of the Fat Boys.

Guys, Dan from Mirage just informed me that as far as he knows, 4 Kids WILL pick the one with the most votes. So even if you jokingly vote for #3, there's a good chance we could be hearing that this year...

So far with this new season included, the show will have a 7 year run and last for 155 episodes. That's pretty damn impressive.

And who knows how much longer it'll go on after this, considering 4kids has bought 5 years of Saturday Mornings on WB and I don't see them cancelling TMNT when it still brings in the highest ratings of all their shows.

Word has it Ninjaturtles.com has posted the actual plot of the series. And it gives a good reason why they decided to leave Splinter in the past...

Good idea, no way 4Kids would go for it though. And I don't think even Mirage is willing to take that kind of storytelling jump with the animated incarnation.

You know something I just realized?

If they can keep TMNT on the air for four more seasons, counting this one, it'll have had as many seasons and it'll slightly surpass the number of episodes the original had.

Honestly, I hope they do keep it on until season 10. That'd be fantastic (I'd imagine the next movie will help with that).

Wow, a 2.6? That's pretty good, at least for 4Kids. But looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer for the lost episodes, since I assume Spring means March or April.

I'm pretty certain the Lost Season won't air any later than February. They have 12 episodes to air and going at only once a week they'd likely want to start early to be done by about May.

Especially since we don't know if TMNT is moving to the CW next season...

Hmmm... I guess we can all but confirm who this is. :narf:

Anyway, I don't think 3 is hip at all, and I'm guessing whoever composed it actually needs a hip replacement (old age joke).

It really doesn;'t fit in at all with the turtles. Not saying rap doesn't. look at the end of the first movie. But that version WORKED. This one has nothing to do with the turtles, and doesn't match the attitude of the show or the integrity of the characters.

Wouldn't it be simpler just to have Shadow start off as the teenage daughter of Gabrielle, then kill off Gabrielle and have Casey and April adopt Shadow? Though, it does seem like 4K!ds has a problem killing off good guys, considering all the people who came back to life in the lost season.

I assume you're referring to American cartoons. Since the Dragonball series are known for having characters get married and having kids.

I really can't see 4Kids using #3, no matter how many votes it gets. It just doesn't seem like the type of song 4Kids would use on their shows, no matter how popular the genre apparently is. At least the One Piece rap was catchy.

Obviously kids like 3, and its going to win unless as a community we must choose one song instead of diving our song which should be 5, The Shelf on the technodrome explains it pretty well..

Rap is amazing, don't judge a genre on bad mainstream songs.
