This has been LONG overdue, if any platform deserved a natively developed Opera Mini,its Symbian. I tried this on my 5800,and it ran so well, very smooth and responsive, not as much jerkyness as the java one, and its lite on RAM, glad they finaly did it.

Runs great on my 20MB free RAM 6650!

Uses a wee bit less memory, appears a bit more snappy - but I guess it is now limited by the 228 MHz ARM processor.

Now I do not get constant pop ups asking me where to connect (Wifi, att internet, att medianet) on my E71. The browser is a bit faster too and enjoyable to use.

You can set a fixed access point in the settings, that is also new

I don't mind the pop-ups too much because I'd like to use wi-fi wherever a hotspot is available, so I do switch fairly frequently between wi-fi and 3G.
