You would think so, given that it is Symbian native; however it seems only Opera Mobile has the necessary hooks for adding itself to the Default browser menu.

Been using it since it came out and have been pleased with the results.
Much faster than Stock Browser and a little faster than regular Opera Mini.

Its so much better for browsing that I now use it instead of my desktop when I am at home.
Went from using around 300megs of data per month to using 500megs in just two weeks.

Is there pinch-to-zoom on Opera Mini?
I have Opera Mobile and Opera Mini installed and pinch to zoom does not work on my N8.

I tried both, Opera Mobile 10.1 beta 2 and Opera Mini 5.1 beta and the main difference I notice is speed. Opera Mini 5.1 beta is just so much faster, and I use it as my main browser now.

I find it amazing over all. An outstanding product.

Faster? Did you switch on the server side page rendering with Opera Mobile? It's not enabled by default.

Running my current Opera Mini 5.0 and the new 5.1 side by side, I can't notice a difference between them on Nokia 5800. Well, I do notice it starts up slightly faster, no longer asks me how I want to connect to the internet, and some minor visual differences in the UI but not much else. I'll probably just keep using 5.0 since it has all my bookmarks and stuff already.

I'm sure it's amazing on older phones though. I'll probably install it on my old crappy Nokia backup phone.

If bookmarks is your only concern to stick with 5.0, create an Opera account to sync your bookmarks with Opera Mini/Mobile/desktop, etc.

New update of the mini beta out today, bug fixes. It feels even speedier, in fact over my wifi it is faster than my pc.

I've been trying mobile 10.1 and I think I like mini better. I seem to get a lot of missed presses with mobile 10.1 and also when clicking on links, I get back the same page instead of the link page.

I get that sometimes in Opera Mini beta 2, as it seems to fail to load the page. I just try again, and then it usually works.

Opera Mini is crazy fast. I can browse so many sites off of my wifi, and scroll around and read so easily, I don't bother with the PC as much now, as I just sit back while watching TV, and browse the net during commercials.

Battery backup time is too short what can we do to overcome this??? Is it possible???
Yes this possible. I think this is the main problem now a day because battery backup time goes short and short day by day. This is happen because we do not follow the battery instructions. And also our charging procedure is wrong.
Now I will tell you the trick how to overcome this. This is also work with laptop batteries...... click here
