The Shonen Sunday #31 reveals that a big news about InuYasha is announced in #34 on July 22.
Generally speaking, this description means the 2nd anime series starts in October.

Well if this does happens that means we will finally get the 2nd half of the manga now in animated form.

Wow, this is great news! But I too am worried about whether or not AS will air it - or air the new Full Metal Alchemist series, for that matter.

They could be taking the Dragonball Kai/FMA:B/Eva movie/etc. approach and do it again but like take shorter to get there this time.

They've probably happy with the shows the block already has. It's either that and CN's going to try to convince Williams Street to get more live-action shows on Adult Swim. I was gonna say that WS lost the license but the show's still on Adult Swim early Sunday morning.

All my years of watching Inuyasha have not been for nothing after all then. Maybe [adult swim] will pick it up. I think they still have the rights for the first series but I'm not sure but I would suppose they do.

God, I hope [as] picks this up. My father and I watched Inuyasha together, and if its streaming/DVD only, there's no chance in hell he'd get a chance to watch it with me.

Not too long ago, I'd be all wide-eyed and saying, "EGAD!!!! That's so awesome! Inuyasha [naughty word]-ing rules!" However, I've been feeling less and less like that. Then again, that's only because of the problems with the first anime, specifically the constant filler leading up to no conclusion, so now that the manga is over, this should be able to give Inuyasha the conclusion it deserves, and with no filler to slow it down. I look forward to it.
