Hey dth1971, since you have This TV, does the Cookie Jar logo replace that Coliseum logo after the end credits of Spider Riders?

A bigger question is, will the Cookie Jar logo replace the DIC logos of those certain shows (Horseland, Liberty's Kids, Mummies Alive)? Airing DIC shows changes all the rules. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really not into the whole "pretending the original company doesn't exist" thing, seeing as how it might confuse some viewers (but that's for another topic).

Anyway, am I to understand that "Cookie Jar TV" going to describe both the This TV and CBS blocks, or is the former still going to be "Cookie Jar Toons"? Also John, what's going to be airing at 10:00 AM on Saturdays?

Well, Cookie Jar TV was announced in May to not only replace KEWLopolis in September, but also digital broadcast networks, like the This TV block and the DIC Kids Network (yes folks, the block still exists) on local Fox/MyNetworkTV/CW stations. Besides, Emily of New Moon is a 1 hour Live Action series, and that would be a fatal blow to the 'Toons' name, like a certain network that's supposed to air cartoons.

And, although Cookie Jar's logo wasn't seen at all (surprisingly) on repeats of Madeline on my local Fox station, Cookie Jar's logo DID infact replace the DIC logo on all but one episode of Liberty's Kids during the DIC Kids Network block. Like the shows that were replaced by the Cookie Jar logo on KEWopolis, Arthur (the last Cinar series to be replaced by Cookie Jar), Caillou, Mona The Vampire and Johnny Test (JT originally had the Coliseum logo in its Second Season, but it was replaced by Cookie Jar's in the Third Season). And Magi-Nation was supposed to have the Coliseum logo when it was announced, but Cookie Jar logo was on that show as well. I think it's because of Cookie Jar wanting to be seen everywhere on TV and the shows that they own.

And, Green Screen Adventures (A This TV series) is at 10:00AM on Saturdays.

And since my Fox affiliate won't carry This TV until February 2010, I'll just have to wait to see if the DIC shows and Spider Riders are replaced by Cookie Jar's logo (which I know it will).

Green Screen Adventures originally was a local show on WCIU 26 Chicago and ME TV Chicago that is going nationally on THIS.

I hope in the future THIS TV airs these shows from the DIC/Cookie Jar library: The Littles, Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats, Sonic the Hedgehog (all versions - Adventures of/Underground/Sat AM), Archie's Weird Mysteries, The New Archies, ALF/ALF Tales, Stop the Smoggies, World of Quest, The Little Lulu Show, Sabrina the Animated Series, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, The Real Ghostbusters, Dennis the Menace, Happy Castle, Photon, Zoobillie Zoo, M.A.S.K., Super Mario Bros. Super Show/Super Mario Bros. 3/Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda, Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theatre, Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?, and (If PBS Kids no longer has rights to it) Postcards from Buster.

I just looked at the schedule for WVAH-TV so The Busy World of Richard Scarry now airs on the Cookie Jar syndicated block. Also I think its more likely the DIC Kids Network was renamed Cookie Jar Kids Network and just because Cookie Jar Toons is adding a live action show doe's not they are going to remove "Toons" from there name as Cartoon Network airs live action shows and it still has "toon" in its name.

No, the press release from Kidscreen (called Zeroing In) already stated that CJ TV would be rebranded on ALL of Cookie Jar's blocks, including Cookie Jar Toons on This TV. But hey, feel free to watch This TV (if you have it) and your local station to see otherwise.

And I already know about The Busy World of Richard Scarry airing in syndication.

EDIT: Okay, I didn't see the TV logo anywhere on the bumpers of Cookie Jar, but it's safe to say that it's still Cookie Jar TV.

And dth1971, Cookie Jar doesn't even own ALF, ALF Tales, The Real Ghostbusters, Postcards from Buster (WGBH has Domestic rights to the show, Cookie Jar just owns the series everywhere else) Zoobilee Zoo or Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater. But that does give me an idea of a poitental schedule for Cookie Jar TV (which has a few non E/I programs like Spider Riders, Mummies Alive!, Potatoes and Dragons and Journey to the West).

Sundays on Cookie Jar TV:

8:00AM Where on Earth Is Carmen Sandiego?
8:30AM Spider Riders
9:00AM World of Quest
9:30AM Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
10:00AM Mummies Alive!
10:30AM Magi-Nation

Monday thru Fridays on Cookie Jar TV:

7:00AM The Wombles (Archie's Weird Mysteries - Tuesday & Thursday)
7:30AM Stop the Smoggies
8:00AM The Littles
8:30AM Inspector Gadget
9:00AM Journey to the West
9:30AM The Legends of Treasure Island

Saturdays on Cookie Jar TV:

10:00AM Are You Afraid of the Dark?
10:30AM Liberty's Kids
11:00AM Trollz
11:30AM Sabrina The Animated Series
12:00PM Dark Oracle
12:30PM Mona The Vampire

When exactly did DIC Kids Network change its name to feature the Cookie Jar brand? The DIC Kids Network doesn't air in syndication in my area, so I don't know. Was it immediately changed last year after Cookie Jar acquired DIC or is it just changing like how KEWLopolis is just now being rebranded?

The DIC/Cookie Jar block airs Saturdays only on the CW affiliate here (upstate NY), and for a while Horseland aired there AND on CBS. It helps that the CBS & CW affils in my market are owned by the same company. With Liberty's Kids & Horseland moving to This TV, I guess they may be done in syndication?

Yes, it looks like the Busy World of Richard Scarry is going to air for all 3 hour of the DIC/Cookie Jar syndicated block for the time being.

Hey spidey, DIC Kids Network changed its name to Cookie Jar Network yesterday (though technically, the Ascent Syndication PDFs shows that Cookie Jar has been running the block since October 2008).

And Wimzie's House will also air on the block very soon (which is weird because it's also on This TV).

OH, NO!!!!!! I never got to see these two!!!!:crying::crying::crying:

I REALLY wanted to see Flight Squad with English voices. (I've only seen it on a local Spanish channel.) Plus, I haven't seen Ripley's Believe It Or Not: TAS since the mid-90's when it was on ABCFamily (well, formerly FoxFamily).:crying::crying::crying:

As for what's coming: I've already got Liberty's Kids: Complete Series on DVD and I didn't find Mummies Alive too enjoyable.

Eh whaaaaat?

Good sweet heavens. I was first introduced to this series by means of a couple of old VHS tapes I found buried in my garage.

...It was an encounter I nearly didn't survive. ^_^; Alexander and Emily are cute, sure, and the globe-trotting idea is a cute premise, but seriously...the show almost hurts to watch. T_T;

Maybe it gets better after the first four episodes. (But I doubt that.)

This TV just launch here in Phoenix last week, the block uses the names Cookie Jar Toons and Cookie Jar TV on Saturday (the bumpers between shows say Cookie Jar TV, the bumpers when the shows go to and come back from commercials say Cookie Jar Toons), and the This TV name on Sunday - Friday (they don't show any bumpers on Sunday - Friday).

Yes, it is the newer version. Since This 3.2 launch last week, I have the watched credits of The Country Mouse and the City Mouse Adventures, Horseland, Liberty's Kids, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (the 1986 anime series not the 1990 DiC cartoon series), Spider Riders, and Journey to the West, all of them had the newer version of the Cookie Jar logo.
