New Cookie Jar cartoon shows join This TV this week

So, did the theme run over the credits or was it quiet and faded out? And does Mummies Alive! have the logo also? And what does the Cookie Jar TV/Toons bumpers look like? Are they like the CBS bumpers or different? And are the credits botched up by Cookie Jar?

The only thing that has been changed in the credits is that they now have the newer version of the Cookie Jar logo. I did not watch Mummies Alive! last Sunday as it was on at 6:00 AM (Arizona time), but I may watch it this Sunday as it will be on at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM (as daylight saving time ends this Sunday and there is no Daylight saving time in Arizona, TV networks that broadcast only 1 feed schedules will move to an hour later, but the schedule on This TV website shows that the schedule will move an hour later Eastern time. So because the Eastern time schedule will move to an hour later, the Arizona time schedule may move 2 hours later). They use the same 5 second Cookie Jar TV bumper that CBS uses between shows and just like CBS, they show the This TV bumper, the Cookie Jar TV bumper and then a commercial for one of the shows that are on the block, the commercials for the shows are like the old DiC Kids Network commercials as at the end of the commercial they say "See when it's on at your house." The Cookie Jar Toons bumpers have the Cookie Jar Toons logo on a black background and they say "Cookie Jar Toons will be right back" and "Now back to Cookie Jar Toons."

Mummies Alive! has the newer version of the Cookie Jar logo and the Tribune Entertainment logo (I don't know why it has the Tribune Entertainment logo as Tribune Entertainment did not make the show, they syndicated it from 2003 - 2008). Spider Riders also has the newer version of the Cookie Jar logo. I think all the shows on the block have the newer version of the Cookie Jar logo.

On July 21st, ThisTV became available in my area after a TV station started broadcasting from a new transmitter site close to home. I was very interested in "Spider Riders" and "Journey to the West" (I'm beginning to like those programs), but I was most interested in "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" after watching scenes from the episodes based on the first story in the Oz series of books edited into a movie of about 93 minutes in length on VHS tape. I now have two out of the 52 episodes on tape and I hope the program stays on ThisTV before September 30th, when I would have every episode on tape. I also hope the station doesn't ruin the viewing experience with weather graphics by that time.

My local stations, finally, picked up this station about a month ago. I like the Spider Riders show and I remember that it used to air on Kids' WB. It's also funny that the show has many Aurthur voice actors/actresses in it. What do you mean by weather graphics? I know that some are for the 24/7 NBC Weather thing, but my station's actually a sub-channel (at least I think that's what it's called) of a different local station.

Arthur, like Spider Riders, was recorded in Canada. Those current VA's are doing Bakugan Gundalian Invaders, Total Drama World Tour, and MetaJets (to name a few). They also did The Amazing Spiez! and many of the Nelvana dubs.

Locally ThisTV airs on KWWTDT 30.4. I watch it when I can for Liberty's Kids, Spider Riders, and Mummies Alive. I honestly thought they were going to send MetaJets to This TV until CN acquired it. It has been here for nearly a year. KWWT got the rights to air This a month after the digital transition took place here.

Oh! I knew that they recorded in Canada already, but thanks for looking up the information for me! :) I didn't know they were working on those other shows. Thanks for the heads up! :) Your lucky that you got it much sooner than I did, almost a year. I also thinks it's funny, that on Saturdays, they air Wimzie's House. Last week was the first time I saw a (it was only a few minutes) episode of the show, in like, almost 15 years?

Yeah, I think that my local NBC affiliate has a 24/7 weather station. It sounds like that might be what your talking about. I think it's really odd when those stations air their E/I shows, because it doesn't look like a real TV station, due to the weather graphics.

All of the stations in my area connected to another local station by ownership display weather graphics during regular programming whenever a severe thunderstorm watch or warning is issued by the local office of the National Weather Service. My NBC affiliate also has a digital sub-channel for current weather information most of the time (except for educational and informative programs), but the station still displays weather graphics on the main channel during network programs and syndicated programs just like my ThisTV affiliate.

ThisTV is available from WMOR-TV (Tampa - St. Petersburg), WMBB-TV (Panama City), WFGX-TV (Fort Walton Beach), and WCTV-TV (Thomasville, Georgia and Tallahassee, Florida).

It's a shame I don't get THIS TV in my town, for I really do want to see the CLYDE series. I saw the opening theme song on youtube and I thought the concept and characters looked neat. Maybe one day, that series will come my way. I can only hope.

ThisTV is on WPIX 11.3 in New York City. It is only available over the air though as none of the cable carriers have yet added it.

According to their Web site ThisTV is scheduled to begin airing on one of the Norfolk stations later this year, but you'd have to sign up for that info at their web site (thistv.com). It is available on WRLH 26.2 in Richmond/ Petersburg, on WHSV 55.2 in Harrisonburg, and on WAHU 55.2 in Charlottesville for people in Virginia. They also list that it will be coming soon for the Roanoke/ Lynchburg Virginia area, but again you'd have to sign up for updates on which digital station will have it.

Thank you for the info. I live in the Chesapeake area, so I don't know if THIS will be coming there. I just hope when THIS finally comes, they won't be taking CLYDE off their networks. That happens a lot when networks finally come to my cable box, all the good shows get taken away.

So yeah.... THIS TV. Great stuff.

Wanted to mention that i find it unfortunate (at least as of this time) That clyde is only on like once or twice a week....and at 6 in the morning. The other show to take that time spot is a weird show with talking ducks called miss mallards mysteries.

Also: I remember waaaay back when Spider Riders aired on Channel 9 on saturdays. And when Mummies Alive was on what was at the time UPN (aka channel 50) in the morning like 10 some odd years ago (or more)

According to the preliminary schedules that I've seen, "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" will run throughout September. It doesn't appear that there will be any scheduling changes to the Cookie Jar Toons lineup at least until October.

Miss Mallard Mysteries is a fun little show. I remember enjoying it quite enough back when it aired on Teletoon.

And people actually like CLYDE? Nice! I used to watch that show as a kid ^^ glad to know I wasn't watching crap back then.
