ok now i need to know how i would use the clutch when i am slowing down? you know when i am going back in to a low gear.. and it is a kawasiki 100.. if that helps any.

Well, basicaly just listen to the engine RPM and when it sounds like its getting very low, just hold your clutch in and down shift. Down shifting is easy, jsut pull the clutch in and shift down a gear then let is back out. Just shift when it seems right to you, its hard for people to tell you when or how to shif becasue every bike is different so. Some people, like to shift down late, and when they do thet just shift down 2 gears instead of one. And most people such as myself don;t use the clutch to down shift. Its more for shifting up. Just make sure that you let off your throttle when you shift up or down, and don't worry about it. It's wicked easy and theres nothing to worry about. And a 100cc bike is perfict to learn on because there easy to control. Trust me, you may stall it a few times, but you will be fine, its easy to ride a clutch after you use it a few times.

You gear down, no need to do anything with the clutch. When using the clutch all you need it for is gearing up. Simple.

Kawasaki Kx 100 is a very good and nice bike! I used to right it, and it was amazing. Now I'm on a YZ 450..

When slowing down, do not engage the clutch. Allow the engine to assist you. Downshifting is an effective way to slow down. Just make sure you don't downshift too much for the speed you are going.
My first ride was a 1972 Kawi 100. Loved it.
Good luck.
