NEed help with amp PLease?

i have an older lanzar amp the lxr 100. i want to power just one 12 inch sub with it. It worked for about 45 min then it stoped working. Now the protect light keeps blinking. I took the rca cords out of the amp and the light stops blinking. When i put them back in it starts blinking again. Any ideas to what is wrong? also the rca output of my new deck is front, rear and bus in what one do i plug in the amp to?
 
i had a problem with my amp where the protect light would be on when i plug the RCA cables in. My problem was that i needed a thicker gauge wire for my 12+ line. it isnt cheap. but it should fix your problem.
