Hey guys, my set up now is 2 12" Rockford Fosgate Prime R1's, in a closed box, hooked up to a Prime R500 watt amp, hooked up to a stock deck in my 1999 Mountaineer(Explorer). I am just not happy with it. It rattles and its just not the volume and bass sound i am looking for. I want to keep the 500 watt amp for now and maybe in the future get an 800 or 1000 watt amp. I also in the future want to swap out the deck. With that being said, i want a system that will work with what i have now and work even better with upgrades in the future. I also don't want to spend much money, but i also don't want a peice of crap. I want to stay with the 2 12" sub set up, but if i can get one good 12" in a ported box for my 500watt amp and buy another sub, box and amp then that's fine too. I just don't know what kind of subs will match up nicely. I was looking at either 1 or 2 Kicker CVR (the all black ones) but don't know about the 2 ohm or 4 ohm one. Either way im open to anything given what iv said so if anyone has any suggestions on what way i should go and what products to buy that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
