Need another method for GM wiring harness for the stereo?

I have a 2005 GMC Sierra, and want to put in an aftermarket radio I have. But Best Buy told me the wiring harness costs $150 because of some door chime thing. I'm not really concerned about the door chime. Can't I just get a basic harness adapter for like $10 somewhere? If so, could I get links too?
 
Call cruthfield at cruthfield.com... they aren't cheap, but will save you a lot of money if you do it yourself. That will prevent you from getting ripped off in labor costs.

If you buy from them, they'll throw in wires and manuals for FREE!
 
wtf? 150? thats outragoues! i got a universal chevy one for 15 dollars at autozone. they also sell them cheap at walmart. and try pep boys if you have one
