This is in danger of sounding very ridiculous.
We're not looking to create a sub-culture that's as big as emo/punk etc.
Me and my friends feel we were born in the wrong era... we LOVE the early 80's, and it's the only music we listen to. We have parties amongst ourselves where we play this music and dance
We are all 17, and are very serious about this.
We are New Romantics.... (but we don't live in 1980-83)
We need a name for our New New Romanticism!
Our Sub-culture:
Love everything about early 80's music
Have parties where you dance to this music
Dress up as New Romantics
Basically.... we are New Romantics, but there is a very small group of us, and we live in the wrong era.
We need a name for our new 'raid your parents vinyl collection' sub-culture.
