I would think the wide release would be pretty soon - I have seen a lot of ads for it lately.
It is currently slated for an October video release.

I was so happy it won :woot:

And Jon won best breakout male and musical performance

Hey guys, I thought I would finally join this thread, although this movie is insane, I can't not like it, lol. And I adore Jon Heder!

this movie is so awesome. what made me laugh so much was when he got the steak winged at him haha

I saw this movie last night and it is one of the funniest movies I saw all year. The dance scene was so funny--Napoleon sure can move.

The Batman skit was great!

:blah:If you tell anyone I'll kill you with my superpowers...

:blah:Batman doesn't have any superpowers...

Then he goes on to list his "superpowers"... rock climbing superpowers.

Yay Napoleon Dynamite won for best movie of the year on the Mtv 2005 movie awards! :yay:

i saw this movie on wednesday, and i'm planning on going to see it again next week. this movie was friggin' hilarious. i love everything about it. i want to marry pedro.

Its been awhile since I watched Napoleon, in fact my sister is borrowing it now so I cant watch it, I better get it back soon lol

I haven't heard the commentary yet, because when I rented I didn't have a chance to hear it :pout: I'm just gonna buy the dang dvd

Oh saw this shirt on Saturday at JCPenney that had that line when Napoleon is hungry and his grandma says "Just make yourself a dang quesa-dilluh :lmao: I so want that shirt.

Twylyte! *runs over and hugs*

No, I haven't heard of this film, but if you and mukooh are interested in it I'll totally check it out. :)

*heh* I loooove this movie..my mom and and my sister thought it was the stupidest thing ever..but I loved it..lol..A couple of friends from school and I, all we do is quote this movie..lol. MY friend has a poster that says "He's out to prove, he's got nothing to prove." (And thats what I loved about the movie..there was pretty much no point..lol)

Did anyone see the comic strip, two people sitting down.."Can I have your tots?" "No, get your own tots!" "I'll pay you" "How much?" "A penny for your tots" (Not sure if its exact wording). I laughed sooo hard when I saw it..lol..how sad is that..heh

Does anyone have any good ND icons I can use?

Good to see the love of ND is still alive.

I haven't watched it in awhile since I've been away at college...so I need to definately watch it soon.

wow! what to say about this movie... well, nothing really except it's FLIPPIN SWEET!!! lol. i LOVED it. it was incredibly funny and ND is now my hero. wow. who knew such brilliance could come out of such a low-costing production film? napoleon dynamite probably did. lol. its great. i recommend everyone to go and buy the DVD!!!!!!!! heck yes i myself bought it. ;).

Oh yeah... don't be sorry! A thread is a thread...

I think this might be one of those ongoing topics with thread after thread...

Yeah, I put it on again last night because I was bored and I didn't feel like going to be yet but I didn't feel like doing anything either. It has become one of my comfort movies. There are only a few.

OK... everyone and I mean EVERYONE should go watch the commentary right now if you haven't already. It is so funny and interesting.. it's like watching a whole other movie. Jon Heder is kind of a dork, but in a good way. It's hilarious about how he talkes about how cool he thinks it is that he learned the signing for "The Rose"... he taught it to everyone he knows and performed it at church or something. It's so funny to hear them talk about certain stuff!!! Almost the entire movie really happened at some point.
