Anne McCaffery
David Eddings
Rudyard Kipling
Dan Abnett
Jude Deveraux
Elizabeth Haydon
Melanie Rawn
John Ringo

Sorry can't come up with a top ten list but here is a start. I love each for their own way of telling a great story. I grew up with Kipling, McCaffery, and Eddings and have always loved their works. Abnett does war like no one else and is fantastic, so real and bloody you can feel the bombs hit beside you. Rawn can be hard to read but good story. Haydon is just fun and adds a new twist to fantasy. Ringo has a great future world. And Deveraux is bit of classy romance to top it all off. I read most anything but fantasy, sci fi, and such is my favorite works.

May you be blessed.

Terry Goodkind - I love his writing style and imaginativeness, although he has been strongly criticized for different things.

Eckhart Tolle.

David Gemmell: One of the most underrated authors of recent history. He writes superbly. Please read one of his books, you won't regret it.
David Eddings: Two words, The Belgariad.
J.R.R Tolkien: Do I really need to write down why I like Tolkien?
George R.R Martin: Superb Fantasy Writer.
Robert Jordan: Diddo, but has a tendency to write too much.
Garth Nix: Writes very well, and has a good imagination.
Dan Brown: My favorite thriller author. I don't care what people think, I loved the Da Vinci Code.
Dave Barry: My favorite Comedian, he makes me roflmao all day long.
Robert Asprin: Fantasy Parodist. Very Funny.
Chris Paolini: He barely makes this list. I really liked Eragon.
