Name your favorite authors...?

i dont know many authors
but 2 i reallylike are

Stephenie Meyer ;because she wrote the twilight series which i really enjoyed.and she also has another really good book called The Hosts which is about people being like invaded and controlled by bugs.

John Steinbeck ;he wrote two of my favorite books. One was "The Red Pony" which i found very interesting because i was into horses at the time i read it. and "Of Mice and Men" which i read in 9th grade for a class.
 
stephenie meyer---because twilight is my favorite book of all time!
Jerry Spinelli---because stargirl is a very cute book!
j.k. rowling---harry potter is such a different kind of book, its very cool how she came up with all these ideas to keep the book interesting!
Jeanne Duprau---the city of ember. this book is amazing!!

umm thats all i can think of right now, but they are soo good!
