N95: when will it come to North America / Spec.

I do not know what carriers will be carrying the n95 but the specs can be found at http://www.nseries.com/nseries/v2/media/product/tech_specs/en-US/tech_specs_n95_en_US.html?lang=en&country=US

The N95 is WCDMA2100, which mean the US carriers will carry it as soon as you start seeing pigs in the air. As for the 'US' release, just wait for the N73 to get its US release and then wait 6 months.

No US carriers will carry this phone!!

Because if they do. I will not get it! hehehehehe..

No seriously.. No carriers will carry this phone here in the US..

If they would.. They would have announced it already.. Like the N75 that got picked up by Cungular.

my prediction is that cingular will either eat tmo (merge) or force them out of the U.S. and then sprint and verizin will merge so you will have one huge GSM provider, one huge CDMA provider and a bunch of prepaid providers piggybacking on their networks. i see this happening in the next 10-15 years.

anyone know if the camera lens has a cover? theres some sort of what looks to be..slider on top of the rounded part of the lens, could that be it? itd be kinda dumb not to protect a quality camera like that

That probably won't happen. T-Mobile has its hands dipped in several different places around the world, whereas Cingular is only located in the US. Sure, they're big, but T-Mobile's bigger on the global scale. If anything, Cingular would only force T-Mobile out of the US, but again, probably not. They offer a really good competitive price for GSM service as compared to Cingular.

Well According to Nokia..

The phone is scheduled to come out in EU and APAC on the 1st QTR of 2007..

Which is January to March I guess..

Carriers in Australia might take this phone.. Like 3 or Vodafone!!

But not in the US!! US carriers are cheap!

OPTUS is in Australia right? I mean yeah if its a GSM carrier..

US carriers are the only companies that don't get hot high end phones!!

US gets likes to get cheap HTC smartphones and call it High end phones!

Also yeah APAC means Asia Pacific So I don't know what they call Australia or maybe its part of it.

Yeah I agree with Jonny..

As for company wise.. Deutschland Telekom or AKA T-Mobile is very big..

Its all over EU they have it in Russia, UK, Germany, and here in the US. They have more.. Too many to mention! Hehehehe!

As of Cingular at one time I thought they were ties with Orange..

I guess not..

60% AT&T and 40% Bell South = CINGULAR

As for Verizon..

55% Verizon and 45% Vodafone = Verizon Wireless

So the bottom line is.. It would stay the way it is.. Or Vodafone might Aquire Verizon and change it to GSM..

Or 3 network might invest on Sprint Nextel..

Cause the way I see it 3 Network right now is spreading all over the world.. They have it in HK, AU, and EU..
