My subwoofer makes my cd skip anyway to prevent?

Yeah i have a 12 inch kicker and when i turn the bass up to loud it makes the cd skip is there anyway to prevent this?
 
cant stop physics dog
but the first thing i would do is clean the lens with one of those cd cleaners, if that doesnt solve it make sure its properly secured.
and if that doesnt work you either have a cheap head unit or your bump detection is no good and the only other option is to run an ipod through it
