This was a really good movie! I didn't like it as much as I liked the book, but I wasn't expecting to. My only disappointment was that they didn't really characterize any of the characters outside of Anna and Sara. For example, I would have loved to have seen more Brian, Jesse, and Campbell, as they were all some of my favorite characters in the book. Still, I did really enjoy the movie. Abigail Breslin and Cameron Diaz did AMAZING jobs! Everyone did a really fantastic acting job, actually. Even the people that I would have liked to have seen more out of, like Alec Baldwin as Campbell, were fantastic.
 
I really wanted to see the a flashback scene where Kate told Anna not to give her a kidney which was in the book

I am eagerly waiting for this, i'm seeing it on 27th - made a date with all some of my past uni friends which i havent seen for a few months, to go and see this and dinner later

Was abit suprised that none of them hadnt read this book, esp two of them love reading books
 
okay so can someone tell me how the movie ended? I don't think I'll be seeing it and I am dying to know :(
 
Thanks for that :D I'm glad we're going to be getting some more interviews with the cast before the premiere.

Cameron has a couple this week and I know Abigail has one as well :D It's finally getting closer to the release date!
 
You know, its only last week i found out (when i was checking her IMDB page) she was in the Eloise movies, which i watched few years back and i couldnt believe it was Sofia - she was totally cute in there :)
 
They really dropped the ball when it came to the Jesse character. That's the only thing that felt really off to me. Even if I hadn't read the book, I would think the lack of explanation with him was weird.

I loved, loved the romance between Kate/Taylor. I was so glad they added that.
 
Gosh, after finishing the book, I am more anxious to see the movie than I was before! :sigh:
 
Thanks for telling me about the ending. I am not too shocked, I liked the book ending better. But for a movie, this ending makes more sense and might be a bit more realistic.

As for why I didn't see it I don't mind being asked at all :D it just came down to $ and other movies coming out at the same time I didn't have enough to see all :(

Its a fantastic book to have :) , i will be buying my copy soon
 
Well, between the 2 Eloise movies and 5 years of being on Medium, she's really proven to be a great young actress IMO :nod:
