We have a family business...most days its not that bad. But my sis-in-law acts like a princess/drama queen. She snaps at everyone in the family (sometimes in front of customers). Everyone puts up with it and never says anything to her. I finally had it, she snapped at me, and I lost it, and I walked away. She tried to come up to me to say she was sorry, and I asked her to give me a few minutes to cool down. Instead she keeps telling me that she wasn't snapping AT me, she was just snapping. I lost it again, but this time I went off on her. She acted like she was going to cry and went away.
She came back out and said she was sorry....kinda like the way a little kid would say it. Sorry, sorry, sorry...nothing behind it...empty.
I was talking to my brother-in-law in the back of the building...explaining that she wouldn't let me cool off from being angry. In the middle of explaining to him, she came up behind me and started screaming..."YOUR TALKING BEHIND MY BACK!!!!" Then got in my face and said "Your soo mean!!! You can be a real bitch when you want to."
This all started because I answered the phone (her job) on my day off...I was doing her a favor. I relayed the message and she snapped at me saying she was too busy to reply to the customer today.
She has a way of turning things around so that people feel bad for her, even though she started whatever it was...I'm standing my ground. I'm not saying I'm sorry, I don't think I did anything wrong. And I expect a sincere appology. Am I wrong?
