I am a relative newbie to Wordpress but I finally got several blogs running -- I had modified the sidebar.php file in each blog so that it had a couple of my own php includes -- so that I could feature information from my related website.
These includes were working fine until tonight. When I looked at my blogs tonight, they had none of the additional info that the includes usually import to the sidebar. So I looked at the Sidebar.php file, and all my php include statements were gone -- and this happened on a half-dozen different blogs.
I can't believe that I could have accidentally erased all these files or reset them. Is there any way that the sidebar.php file can be reset to a previous version of itself without the user knowing it?
Thanks!
Thanks for the e-mail. You were right. I checked with my hosting service and they say they installed a new version of Wordpress yesterday that would account for my templates reverting to their default values!
