My PS3 review

You were the guy who shook his head at Sony's corporate meeting when they said, "Should we try to make a good console? The alternate is robbing them blind." Weren't you?

It comes with everything but the HDMI cable actually (and optical audio cable probably). I don't understand what the big deal is.

A USB charging cable for the one rechargeable SIXAXIS controller it comes with, component a/v cables (or you can use PS2 ones if you have them), power cord (same as PC i believe), and an ethernet cable.

True enough. However, they generally are never meant to be perfect examples of the finished product. There is a difference between being impressive and showing off what the console is really capable of. I wouldn't expect that in a demo.

I've owned every consoler from NES to Xbox 360 except the original xbox. so i'm not an xbox fanboy, i've never even played halo one or two. I was trying to give an un biased reveiw. Go to you local best buy and play it, i'm sure you will leave less than impressed. Don't need you trollin up my thread

hey retard, wanna hear something funny about ps3's great controllers.
their battery pack is BUILT IN. know what that means?

battery dies completey, your are either shipping it BACK to sony, or buying a new $50 controller.

i use rechargeable batteries that i've had for 3 years for my 360. one charge lasts me about 15 hours of play time......straight.

PS2 wasn't lightyears ahead of Sega's Dreamcast, but in the end it won out. It'll be interesting to see how well the PS3 does in the market against the 360 & Wii.

Would you prefer to pay $1,000 for the standalone blu-ray player? No. Fact is is that pretty much all the consoles make their money off of games & accessory sales. I think OT'er LOUDSYSTEM said that even high end audio/video equipment doesn't come with an HDMI cable, so for people to demand it from Sony is just .

yeah it was, but it was the only nex gen console so everything atleast looked really good on it. The PS3 has to compete with a 360 that is equally as powerfull and on 2nd gen software. I think Sony might be in a battle this round.

At least when games reach a point where they exceed the space of a DVD there'll always be HD-DVD and Blu-Ray to fall back on, and when HD-DVD tops out there'll be either Blu-Ray or next gen DVDs? PC games are already reaching ~8GB so the time is near.

GT:HD is just a teaser. No one forces you to buy the tracks and cars. If you don't like that, then just wait for GT5.

Or you can connect it via the USB cable to the console and play that way. Oh the travesty!

It doesn't look to hard to switch out either

knew all the butthurt sony boys would find there way in here and cry......face it PS3 is not gonna change the videogame world...
