My Pioneer car audio unit, just shuts off on me all the time. How do I stop this?

I have a Pioneer DEH-P310UB car audio unit (cd player). It doesn't always turn on when the car is started, and if it does when I start using the buttons, it just shuts off and becomes un-useable. How do I fix this?
 
it because of bad wiring check the radio wire, and also did you use a car radio harness for your wiring if not i think you should. just go to a local audio store that sell car stuff and get one that should stop it from shutting off
