my kyocera loft is saying DOWNLOAD IN PROGRESS what do i do?

I called Virgin Mobile with the same issue. First they had me take out the battery, hold the power button down for a full minute, then re-install the battery and turn it back on. Didn't work. Then they said to take the battery out, let it alone for four hours, then hold down the power button for a minute, re-install battery, and turn it back on. That didn't work either.
