My Kawasaki Ninjas throttle jst keeps spinning and not catching.?

The throttle is not catching its just spinning so i cant accelerate. If i move the throttle around sometimes it catches and i can rev it for a second and then it loses it again. Any ideas whats wrong? and how i can fix it?
