my kawasaki 500 vulcan motorcycle runs great cold, as it warms up it runs worse especially at higher rpms?

as the cycle heats up, the idle is rougher (on all 3 choke settings) and will not achieve higher RPM's.
changed gas(sitting a year) & both spark plugs
