My husband went to a wedding without me, is that normal in Algeria culture?

Hi, my husband told me LAST NIGHT that he had to go to a friends wedding TODAY!! We are in America but he is Algerian, is this normal for him to not take his wife??!!
Because when he comes back, I have some questions for him...
 
i don't know about algerian culture but its unethical to go to such functions without partner. marriage is a compromise between two to run life smoothly. in india we genearly say... wife and husband are two wheels of a cart. which can not run with one. so its bad on his part. do ask questions but don't get irritated because marriage afterall is a compromise
 
Yes...because it's his friend...so he went with his friends and not with you. although , if it was someone of his family or even your family , he would probably ask you to come with him.
