Well the valves needed done. I did them at 12500 for the first time and did not like how they came out. It now has 16500 and was due for and oil change and my Daughter and her husband want to buy it from me when the new ride comes in. So I figure what the hell...have it done right. Well they changed the oil, rear end fluid, I had them flush the radiator. They checked the tire pressure. They checked and retourqued everything. The valves sound nicer now. They took out my tail light modulator...they could not get it to stop flashing:lol4:. At least they gave it to me... all proud that they found something wrong. Thing is I bought it at thier dealership. The front of the house don't know what the back don't know. :b-wtf:I put it back in when I got home and its fine. Oh and they checked the steering head bearings. While I was there they were talking to a guy who had dropped off his kids sport bike. They serviced it to the tune of a couple of hunderd dollers. Needed carb cleaning....told the old man that the gas today is trash and you have to put stabilezer in it. Not generally a bad idea. They told him if he leaves the gas in the thing for 3 weeks he'll have to bring it back for another cleaning. So they sell him big can of stabilizer...sigh...3 weeks what is the world coming to? so for this service they charge me 301.23. Not bad I guess and the valves are ok now. And the tailight modulator works still. In spite of them:mad:

Hi Dave, Just had my C50T oil changed for 2nd time. I rode bike about 5 miles and made a slow turn and bike went side ways, I thought I had hit a slick spot in road, got bike off road and looked behind me and all I could see was a trail of oil. Dummy at shop didnt tighten oil plug up! I was very lucky, oil was still pouring out when I got stopped and looked under my bike. My oil light never came on, they came and got bike and re-did oil change and cleaned bike up. Very lucky I didn't get hurt, I tried to pay for service and they refused to take check. Usually oil change cost about $40.00 with filter.
I always have heard about these things happening to other people, well I happened to me! Ride safe!!

No....they want 400.00 for set of tires.;)

The funny thing is it took them only an hour and 10 minutes to change the coolant and the do the valves. You can time the process because when the remove the tank it stops the clock. SO it looks like a power failure in your house. Nice when you have all the tools and a lift AND know what your doing...well of sort of any way!!

The prices they charge for tires? You can get a tire and rim from Ebay, and usually cheaper than what they charge. I have seen c50t and 90t REAR rims with a tire sell for 64.00 + 50.00 shipping, much better than the 210 I even paid on my previous bike for a rear tire and tube. Yes, I will search EBAY when I need a rear tire, I won't go to the dealer EVER again...
