My family is starting to forget their original culture?

no offense, but its typical of iranians to act like this.

@wellef: i think its probably them trying to get as far away from the iranian regime, which they all dislike..so they just do whatever it takes. and they probably prefer the westernised life. i guess some ppl tend to forget allah. and please dont be offended by that. its just that these things do happen. my family are westernised (im eastern european), and that makes my life hard, because i want to practice religion. so mainly i just do things on my own.

@wellef: then i guess they seem to be the type who just simply dont care. sara is an example of that. they are probably just really drawn to the western lifestyle so they tend to things the western way. especially if theyve lived in the west for a long time.

We live in Europe and my parents talk less and less Persian, and they are starting to "ignore" more and more of the Persian holidays and I feel like they are immigrating too much.

Am I the only one and what to do about this?

elda: I don't think it has to do with the regime, cause my parents have nothing against it. I just think that they find their culture unimportant
 
Its a shame Persian culture is great

At least they are being Arabized as some Muslims are

On the plus side some Arabs in the west are losing their culture and joining the human race
