My culture????????????????

I have a culture project due tomorrow and i am african american. Do you think i should bring in an african sculpture? Or that isnt my culture (african american)?
 
your culture can be both
but I suggest that you go with culture that you know the best
being african american is something that you should be proud

Don't bring in a random sculpture, especially if you don't know specifically that it's African, or where it's made.

If you know your African background, then feel free to elaborate on that in your project, and bring in something to represent it, like a special dish. However, it doesn't sound like you know specifically what your African heritage is, so I'd stick to African-American culture. You could however, bring in something representing Ghana or Senegal, since a large amount of African-Americans are descended from those countries, but make sure you explain this.

Perhaps African would be your heratige, but American you're culture. You could do something that would symbolize you culture as a black woman in America?
