My car radio doesn't work?

I took out a store bought radio and wanted to put the factory radio back in. The wires were spliced in the car so I had to rewire everything. Anyways I know my wiring is correct but I get no power to the radio. I can push the button on the radio and the cd player will make a noise and the clock will turn on for only a second. The power button does nothing. Anyone have a clue on this one? I checked the fuses and they seem to be ok also.
 
Sounds like you're using the amp turn-on lead as the power source. Find the correct power wire. If that doesn't work just wire the darn thing to the fusebox.
 
You might have mixed the power wire up with the constant hot wire. The constant hot is yellow or has yellow on it, so your clock and presets stay the same when you turn the car off. The power to make the radio sound is all red-no yellow.
