My boyfriend just bought a Kawasaki, and I'd like to get him a celebratory present:...

...suggestions? I don't know the name of the model, but it looks like one of the old Indian bikes that look so cool. I also don't know much about the motorcycle culture, but I want to get him an awesome (yet cheap--under 50 bucks) motorcycle-related present as a celebration. As experienced bikers, can you suggest anything that a biker would really enjoy yet might not splurge to buy for himself? He's 26 if that helps. I really look forward to your ideas!

The only thing better than a hot bike is a hot babe. Go get a sexy outfit, them boots that come up to the knees with heels and a garder belt. something really out of the ordinary. Then be in the garage sitting on the bike when he comes home. Let him take a few pics then show him a good time. he'll think of you everytime he rides it.

Gremlin Bell? sounds like Witchcraft!

add the 50 bucks for life insurance.

Seriously, I have ridden for over 10 years, there are 2 riders, ones who have crashed, and ones who are gong to crash. 50 dollars will not buy you much for protective equipment, Decent gloves are 100 dollars, helmets are 200 for average to 700 for very good. Leather jackets are 400 for anything worth having in a wreck.

I ride in a 1000 dollar full leather suit because you never know who is on the road. My abilities are well above average but that cannot be said for other people in cars around me.

My best advice, save up enough money and have him take a Motorcycle safety course. Buy a good helmet, gloves, and jacket. Then get him some good boots.

When people fall, the first thing they do is put there hands out. Imagine him doing that going even as lsow as 15MPH, on pavement. His hands will look like ground beef for a long time not to mentionpossible nerve damage. Now think about his head hitting, back, hips, elbows......

GET HIM A SAFETY COURSE AND PROPER GEAR!!!!
