By the very definition of the word 'murder,' abortion is nowhere close. You are ignorant, and allow your religious myths to lead you into illogical opinions.
Abortion is not murder, anyone who can't grasp that concept obviously lacks the the ability to think logically.
I want religion eliminated. Does that make me right, or give me the right to impose my beliefs on others? How would you like it if someone took away your right to practice your religion? I assume you wouldn't be too happy about it, so why do you think you have the right to impose your opinions about abortion on others?
And yes, I read where you said you didn't want abortion eliminated through laws and restrictions, but you're contradicting yourself. It's unrealistic to think abortion will go away without laws to prevent it.
I don't believe he said that at all. Is your point so weak you need to put words in someone else's mouth to justify your opinion?
At the stage of pregnancy in which abortions take place, the "baby" is nothing more than a zygote; a mass of cells, nothing more. If that's what you consider 'human life' then I suggest you go back and take a 6th grade biology class. That mass of cells lacks the two qualities by which we quantify human life; the ability to survive on it's own, and cognition.
Your life support analogy is also a bad one; you're comparing someone who has lived a full life, to a mass of cells without the cognitive abilities to even acknowledge it's own existence. I'd hardly call that a valid point...
On a side note, I think it's despicable that crazy religious types would keep someone alive artificially even when the person didn't want to be resuscitated, or it became apparent that they would not survive. You would think someone with the thoughts of magical super beings engraved into their mind would be happy to see their loved ones go to be with the magical man in the sky.
