my amp is a 1600 watt and on the same site i got the amp from... the highest wiring kit they had was for 800-1200 watt amps(already bought).. is there really a significant difference in sound or power or anything? and if im only pushin 800 watts total, does it matter how big the amp is?
lanzar 1600 watt

Check the fuse size on the amp. If it has multiple fuses, add the numbers together. Then, check the fuse size on the wiring kit (should be close to the battery). If the amp fusing is higher than the number on the wire, you need a bigger wire. The wire's fuse should be a little bit higher than that on the amp. Also, btw, depending on what kind of amplifier you got, it probably doesnt push out a true 1600 watts. Most companies overrate their amps to sell more. Sad but true. Look it up :)

A Kicker 1000w amp will push out more power than a Lanzar 1500. Kicker is true, Lanzar, Pyle, Sony, ...isnt.

Tell me which amp you have and Ill tell you how much power youre really getting.
