Regarding Nick Cave, hell yeah. He has one album I don't like, besides which he's responsible for one of the most consistent discographies around (in my opinion).

Great write-up as well.
 
I really like her music, it takes me away and lets me forget about life for awhile. She just so happens to be one of my favorite artist. So I put yEs :D
 
Same goes for someone like Laswell... Has been involved in music for yonks, has so many albums accredited to him somehow, was huge in the NY underground/avant garde scene and has pushed the careers of some huge modern day players. But not well known still. I mean some might remeraber his name here and there from a Buckethead or PiL thread but overall there is no chance of him getting through, simply because most don't listen to him. Not saying they will like him of course.

And in the end if I nominated him, I couldn't give a damn if he got in or not. T'would be nice, but in the end of the day, it ain't my choice alone.

Re:Jackhammer's post, I doubt this would be an issue Boo Boo if Yes had gotten in and Berry was likely to get in clearly (ie 21-7 ratio)
 
Yeah, but it's got some entertainment value though, unlike the last few. Haven't seen a proper two-horse race in this thread for a while

I guess that's the way the whole durned human comedy keeps perpetuatin' itself, down through the generations, westward the wagons until—ah, look at me, I'm rarablin' again.

I'm gonna abstain myself from voting because they seem like the kind of band I might find myself advocating, yet I've never listened to them...
