MuchMoreRetro & MuchLOUD to be Removed in Sept.

Nothing so ar in our info system about those channels being removed...

Nothing on my bill either...
 
I would drop ExpressVu in a heartbeat, if any other provider offers these channels in the Calgary area. For now, unfortunately, all I can do is roll back what I am paying and stop recommending ExpressVu to others. They are slowly but surely evolving into the most pathetic provider.
 
I just called Bell about this and the Rep checked....She said there was "talk" of this channel being removed but it IS NOT happening now.

I guess we'll all see soon enough.

On The Bell ExpressVu technical support board, on Wed Jul 25, in the ExpressVu Technical Bulletins, there is a post from Expressvu Tech. Department stating:" As of October 22nd, MuchLOUD (Channel 573) and MuchMoreRetro (Channel 572) will be removed from Bell ExpressVu's programming line-up."
 
This stinks.

Get rid of Retro and Loud and add two baby channels... :confused:, are these guys insane?

I've been a Bev sub for nearly 2 years now, based my choice to get Bell on Retro alone, I may consider telling them to take my account and shove it this fall.

So it's ok to bill in advance for a service scheduled to be cancelled during that period and charge late fees for the service the provider doesn't deliver?!?

Cell phone, sat TV or anyone else ought to be embarrassed -- and held legally accountable -- for such outrageous billing policies.

Variety 3 is the theme pack that contained those 2 channels...you have it if you see Military channel and Bite

I chose Bell and then bought the additional kit for Nimiq 82 for these channels.
 
Yep..have both those channels...

I think my original package was/is Ultimate 12.

Either way...no written warning from Bell on the cancellation of MMR. :rolleyes:
 
O WTF???!? I Just added the god damn channel 4 days ago and Their going to remove it now!?!? What the heck Bell!?
Just keep on pressing the wrong buttons bell.. Im starting to become one very pissed costumer... :mad:
 
I see MuchMoreRetro and MuchLoud have already been deleted from the Variety Pack Three on ********. You better hurry to get your credit of



62.5 cents per channel per month. But cheer up ... this TV package still contains the egregious PunchMuch, Silver Screen Classics which looks fabulous on all 12" b&w screens, historic jazz tv clips, Yet Another Decorator Channel, and two radio stations.

Now, there's value for you!

They're removing these and keeping the abominable PunchMuch? That's now three channels gone from the Variety 3 pack this year.

Could this have anything to do with the CHUM acquisition and CRTC regulations on the ratio of owned channels a provider carries?
 
I cancelled all my theme packs as a result of losing these two stations. Not watching much TV anyways. Now just "basic" and BBC Canada :)

That's 21 bucks a month less.... lost 5 themes and west coast feeds.
 
We all have had are negative marketing fiasco. Expressvus billing leaves lots to be desired.
