mtx subs and amp package?

At a local retailer, they sell a loaded package, two 12 mtx terminators with a 1200 watt max and a 1200 watt amp. ive read reviews saying mixed things, a few said they blew right away with lttle watts through them and others said they sounded pretty good. anyone had or has any that could sort this out for me?

If you can buy extra warranty it would be a good idea...it sounds like your looking at a MTX 4001 amp. the problem with that amp is it makes a lot of power witch is great but it gets REALLY HOT witch i think is the reason why they blow up
